Mock Draft Rewind + Draft Pulse: Undo Picks and Catch Position Runs in Real Time

feature · draft

The Mock Draft Simulator just got two upgrades that turn it from a one-shot practice run into a real what-if tool.

Pick Rewind: Branch Any Scenario From Any Point

Previously, once a pick was made the only way back was a full reset. Now you can rewind to any point in the draft and take a different path.

Two ways to rewind:

  • Undo Pick — a button in the draft header that steps back to your most recent pick so you can re-choose.
  • Click any completed cell — click any pick already on the board to rewind the entire draft to that moment and branch a new scenario. "What if I'd taken the WR here instead of the RB?" is now one click.

The rewind is immutable and exact. It restores the available player pool, each team's roster, traded-pick ownership, and any pre-existing keepers to the state they were in at that pick. You can branch as many scenarios as you like — just click a different pick each time.

Draft Pulse: Position Runs and Tier Cliffs

The second upgrade is a compact alert strip in the AI Insights panel that surfaces two signals the flat value list hides:

Position runs — when a position is going off the board faster than its fair share in the recent window. If 4 of the last 6 picks were running backs, you'll see an alert like "RB run · 4 of the last 6 picks." This is the signal to decide whether to accelerate your own RB timeline or trust it will ease.

Tier cliffs — when only a handful of comparable players remain before a steep value drop. The alert tells you exactly how many players are left before the cliff and gives you the window to act before they're gone.

Both signals update live with every pick. Draft Pulse is available in the premium AI Insights panel alongside pick suggestions and the advisor analysis.

How to Use It

  1. Start a mock draft from the Draft Prep tab
  2. After any pick, click that cell on the board to rewind to that point
  3. Enable AI Insights (premium) to see the Draft Pulse strip
