The League Assistant Now Floats: Context-Aware AI on Every Screen, Across All Your Leagues

announcement · feature

The League Assistant used to live in its own tab. Useful, but it meant leaving whatever you were looking at to go ask a question. That's backwards. As of today the assistant is a floating button in the bottom-right corner of every dashboard screen — one click and it opens right on top of what you're doing, and the conversation follows you as you move around the app.

It Knows What You're Looking At

The assistant now receives the context of your current screen with every message. Open it from the Waivers tab and it knows you're browsing available players. Open it from the Trade Calculator with a trade configured and it can see the exact players and picks on the table — ask "what do you think of this trade?" and there's nothing to restate. The starter prompts adapt too: on the Outlook tab it offers your title odds, on the Draft tab it offers pick targets.

New Tools for the Questions Managers Actually Ask

Along with the move, the assistant picked up a set of tools built around the weekly routine:

  • Matchup preview — who you're playing this week, both lineups with live points and projections under your league's own scoring, and a projected scoreboard for the rest of the league.
  • Lineup check — your lineup as set vs. the optimal lineup from the same engine that powers the Outlook simulation, with the exact start/sit swaps that close the gap and flags on injured starters.
  • Free agents — the best available players on your wire, the same list as the Available Players view, filterable by position.
  • Injury report — every rostered player carrying a designation, for your team or the whole league.

It Can Take You There

The assistant can now navigate the app for you. Ask to see the waiver wire and it opens the Waivers tab; ask about a trade idea and it can offer to bring you to the Calculator. Because the chat floats above the app, the conversation keeps going while the screen changes underneath it. If a view answers your question better than text, it will offer to show you — say yes and you're there.

All Your Leagues, One Conversation

The assistant is no longer boxed into the league you have open. It can list every Sleeper league you're in, and its forward-looking tools — playoff odds, matchup previews, lineup checks, free agents — can reach any of them directly. Ask "which league am I most likely to win?" and it pulls your championship odds from every league's rest-of-season simulation and ranks them in one answer. Want to actually switch? Tell it to take you to that league and it will open it, chat still running.
